Faculty Support

FSU’s College of Communication & Information is privileged to have an enthusiastic and talented faculty. Over the years, our students and alumni proved that our faculty provided them with top-quality education and life lessons. The competition for attracting and retaining such outstanding faculty is growing annually.

Funding a named professorship can help ensure that our students get the best possible education from faculty members who have demonstrated excellence inside and outside of their classrooms. All our faculty are committed to remaining at the top of their field.

Professorships are a great way to support and encourage our faculty members to advance research, use the most updated technology, and showcase an excellent faculty asset in our college. The income from a named professorship helps CCI offer competitive salaries while providing funds to support faculty research and classroom activities. Our faculty members are committed to giving their all to our students every day, from invaluable knowledge to experiences.

The problems our communities face are complex. Today’s graduates need the dexterity and competence to address a range of new and complex issues. By creating educational experiences that extend beyond the classroom, our students are engaged in research projects, professional experiences, and interactive coursework, and learn skills and strategies applicable to real life.

We are passionate about the education we provide and the impact of our teaching and research. We’re dedicated to providing Florida State University students with the environment and opportunities they need to launch successful careers, connect with their community, and face tomorrow’s challenges.
