Every year our alumni and friends give generously to the College. These gifts help provide our students with exceptional educational experiences. In addition, College rankings include the percentage of alumni who make a gift to FSU’s academic programs no matter the size of the gift, so your gift helps improve FSU’s national academic ranking.

Gifts made to the College’s general development fund are support and encourage professional development and excellence, by funding:

• Two College Career Days which attract employers who are looking for employees and interns in areas specific to the College Scholarship recognition and awards
• Student, faculty, staff and alumni recognition and awards
• Student travel to receive State and National Awards
• Student professional organization events
• Video and entrepreneurial competitions
• Student travel to make presentations at conferences
• Student emergencies (due to personal or family accident or health issues)
• Recruiting high school students
• K-12 outreach activities

Donors may designate their annual gifts to a particular school or any endowed scholarship or program.
